Covid-19 Protocols
LAYERS OF PROTECTION
To provide a safe return to school, we have layers of protection in place to keep our students and staff healthy and safe In Sha Allah. May Allah (swt) protect us and keep us and our families safe and healthy. Ameen.
1. Daily Dua
We begin our day with daily duas for protection.
2. Health Check
Parents are required to screen their children with the daily health check.
3. Daily Temperature Check
Daily temperature checks are taken upon arrival by staff
4. Mandatory Masks or Face Shields
All students and staff are required to wear a mask or face shield indoors.
5. Physical Distancing
Within classrooms, students maintain a minimum of 3 feet physical distancing.
6. Washing Hands
Students are encouraged to wash their hands frequently throughout the day. Sanitizers have been placed in the classroom and prayer areas of the Masjid.
7. Disinfecting, Sanitizing, and Increased Ventilation.
Commonly touched surfaces and the bathrooms are cleaned and disinfected frequently. Professional sanitization is performed periodically and as needed. Increased ventilation.
8. Symptomatic Students and Staff
Students or Staff with symptoms are required to leave school and can only return with a negative test and/or quarantine if required.
9. Quarantine
For unvaccinated individuals, travel quarantine is required for anyone who has travelled internationally and must return with a negative PCR test. Vaccinated individuals can return to school with a negative PCR test. Any individual tested positive should not return until they meet the criteria to discontinue home isolation and have consulted with a healthcare provider.
10. Vaccination
NJ State Executive Order 253 requires that all school employees must provide adequate proof that they have been fully vaccinated or submit to COVID-19 testing at minimum one to two times weekly.
